Sorpresa!

English Version: Today Miss Belinda (our tutor) took us to the city center to spend the afternoon with her. The problem was the mother of the house didn't tell me that I was going.
I was in my room doing my homework, on my slippers when the doorbell rang, at first I thought it was James but the father (Jim) shouted: "Rocio!" and I went downstairs answering: "Yeah!?" But then I saw Pino wearing our uniform and I didn't know what to say so I said: "Do... I... Have.. to.. go?" and Jim answered: "Yeah sure, didn't you know that?" I went upstairs, took my bag, put on my shoes, got the jacket and went downstairs, all this I did it very fast hahahahha.
When we got to the train station we didn't have enough time to buy the tickets so we missed it, but another one came just in ten minutes.
When we got to the center we went to see the shop "forever 21" and we had to run a lot. But when we were about to go in the policeman said : "Sorry we have already closed", so we went to Pennys where I  bought a very nice jersey.
After that we went to have dinner at McDonald, a very usual place :) and we went to a restaurant which was beside McDonald to have our dessert, Pino and I shared a milkshake and Isabel ate another one too.
When we were going to the luas we had to run because it was too far away from where we were. I got home at around nine. I had lots of fun and we only have 4 weeks left :)

English version:
Hello  everyone!!
Today is Thursday and Emily went with Mick to Irish practice, and Teresa is at work, so Grainne and I are alone in the house. I have to prepare our dinner, Mick told me how to cook the dinner:
Put the fish fingers for 20 minutes on the grill and check the potatoes (they are in the oven) and also sometimes look after the food and turn it back.
So I have a few minutes to tell you about my weekend:
On Sunday I went  roller blading with Grainne, at first It was raining but then it stopped, it was really good. Then we went to the super value to bag pack, but what is bag-packing?:
well Grannie plays Gaelic football in a club, and they have to collect  money so in the supermarket we packed the things that people buy while they are paying, It was really funny we enjoyed it a lot. We should do that in Spain !!!
Upssssss I have to check the oven and set the table byeeee!!!

Spanish version:
Holaaa!!!!

Calcetines negros, The best choice.

English Version:
Today, at first I didn't feel well, I had a headache. When I went to the bus stop I had to wait for 30 min for the bus to come, I arrived late to school. In " home economics class" we were supposed to cook baked
potatoes but the teacher didn't come so we had to go to the computers room where a man opened a computer tower, it had lot of things inside it. After that we had a free class, I wrote a letter to my parents, in the afternoon I had multi sports where we played hockey and football. I went to the house and did my homework. For dinner we had mashed potatoes with carrots and meat. After dinner Zöe and I went to girl guides like scouts, we played lot  of different games and we sang songs like:
"Black socks, they never get dirty, the long that you wear them  the stronger they get, sometimes I think I should wash them but something keeps telling me no, no yet, Not yet. "
We went home at half past eight, I  had a shower and told the family everything I had done today :)

"Black socks, they never get dirty, the long that you wear them te stronger they get, sometimes I think I should wash them but something keeps telling me no, no yet, Not yet."

English Version:

Today, is a regular day,  I woke up at eight in the morning, had my breakfast and I went to school. First I had religion, I went into the class and I sat next to Andrea, a Spanish girl who is in my class. When the teacher arrived we all stopped talking and sat down. Everything was normal until the teacher took off her shoes, put a candle in the middle of the room, some flowers and she started meditating ! All the girls thought   that was normal!. Andrea and I looked at each other.  We spent 40' without shoes and saying: AM,AM,AM...
After that, we had to write about what we thought about what had just happened.I have never had  such a weird class. After Religion the day went really fast and without noticing we were on the bus coming back home. At  my bus stop, there are 4 Spanish girls but I am the one who has to walk the farthest. After 15 minutes talking Mariana realized that  she didn´t have her coat with her, so we had to come back walking, another 15 minutes, to see if it was at the bus stop.We arrived and didn´t see any coat so we came back home, again, and on the way, after 45 minutes walking, Mariana remembered, she had left her coat in he locker. We almost killed her!.
Finally, we all came home, tired and laughing at ourselves and our day.

Cliff of Moher.
Our fantastic team of spanish and italian tutors (Belinda & Luis from Las Palmas the Gran Canaria and Chiara & Pietro from Milano)  have decided to explore a part of Ireland every Sunday, our day-off .
This Sunday we chose Galway, a nice city in the  West coast, two hours by car from Dublin.
We experienced the authentic Irish weather: rainy and windy all the morning. We found a warm place to recover from the cold and wet weather ouside, then we decided to go to the Cliffs of Moher, one more hour by car. We enjoyed the amazing landscape driving, because the weather was getting better, and finally we arrived at our destination.
We couldn’t believe  what we were seeing: steep cliffs that plunge into the sea, waves crashing on the rocks, blue sky with white fluffy clouds.. and the wind was so rough that we could barely stand.
We climbed over the fence and started to walk through the soft grass ruffled by the wind, until we reached the edge. Carefully lying on the grass with our head sticking out the edge we looked down and saw the water rushing beneath us.. It was astonishing!
We crossed the meadows and took some pictures with cows and horses grazing all around, then we kept walking on the top of the cliffs and the wild landscape took our breath away.
Finally we reached the O’Brien’s tower on the very top of the cliffs.

After that we had a look at the souvenirs’ store and took a funny picture of Belinda in her ‘trekking suit’.
Before going home we had a typical Irish dinner in a little restaurant on the way back: vegetarian soup and Irish beef with potatoes, with some brown bread and butter.
Three hours later we were at home, tired, almost asleep but amused and happy.

REFRESCO!!!:(

¿Qué rico está este refresquito?

Do you know what? ARTHUR´S DAY is coming to Dublin.
